Questions candidates ask

How often is the OET test held?

The computer test runs Monday to Saturday at venues and as OET@Home, for all 12 professions. The paper test runs on two Saturdays most months, 24 dates in 2026.

When do OET results come out?

For computer tests and OET@Home, as little as 48 hours after your last sub-test, and 95% within 6 calendar days. For paper tests, from about 5 days in India and the Philippines and from 13 days elsewhere.

Are OET 2027 dates out?

Not as of 22 Oct 2026. OET usually publishes the next year's paper dates in the second half of the year; the computer test doesn't need fixed dates.

Which professions can sit OET on paper?

Nursing and Medicine on every paper date; Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Radiography and Veterinary Science on alternate dates. Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Podiatry and Speech Pathology are computer-only.

When does OET booking close?

24 days before a paper test and 7 days before a computer test (11:59 PM UTC). Rescheduling costs more after booking closes.
