Is the monthly mock really free?
Yes. Sign in with a free OETAce account to take this month’s selected Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking tasks. No pass or payment is required, including for the selected Writing and Speaking feedback.
How many times can I take it?
Once per account each month, with one submission per component. You can return to finish the remaining components while that month is open. Your saved results remain available afterwards; archived mocks cannot be started or resumed. A fresh selection opens on the 1st at midnight in Sydney.
How is it different from a paid pass?
The free monthly mock gives you one selected test for each skill, including one Speaking card, with saved results. A paid pass opens the wider practice bank, unlimited Listening and Reading practice, and the Writing and Speaking AI allowances shown on your plan. The monthly selection comes from our original practice bank.
