Terms of use
The rules for using OETAce. Last updated 21 October 2026.
What OETAce is
OETAce is an independent practice platform for the Occupational English Test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment (CBLA), the owner of OET. Scores on OETAce are estimates for practice. They are not official results and do not guarantee any result in the real test.
Your account
Sign in with your own email address. Keep sign-in codes to yourself and don't share a pass between people.
Passes and payment
- Passes are one-off payments for 30 or 90 days of access. They don't renew automatically.
- Speaking role-plays and Writing markings are subject to fair use: up to 60 of each in any 30 days.
- If something isn't working or you think you've been charged in error, contact us. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these terms.
Fair use
Don't copy, scrape or resell OETAce content, try to extract answer keys, or use automated tools against the service. We may pause access that puts the service at risk.
Content
All tests, letters, case notes and role-play cards are original OETAce material and protected by copyright. Your letters and transcripts remain yours; you allow us to process them to mark your work and improve our marking.
AI marking
Writing and Speaking feedback is generated by AI against the published criteria. It can be wrong. Use the quoted evidence to judge each comment, and treat score ranges as guidance.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters for a pass you've already bought, we'll tell you by email.
