Questions candidates ask
Can I combine two OET sittings for the Medical Council of Ireland?
No. You need B (350+) in all four sub-tests in one sitting.
Does the Medical Council accept OET@Home?
No. Use a paper-based test or a computer test at a venue.
My OET is 22 months old. Is it still valid?
The certificate must be within 2 years on your date of registration, not only when you apply. If registration may take a few months, plan for that.
Do I need OET at all?
Possibly not. Graduates of Irish, EU/EEA, UK, Australian, New Zealand or US medical schools, EU citizens, and some registration types are currently exempt. Check the Council's page for your case.
