Minimum OET scores
PSI also lists B (350) for “All components”. Meet that condition as well as each component minimum; do not invent an average.

The rules around the lines
- Combining sittings

- OET@Home
- Home-based tests are not accepted. PSI separately permits the at-home Speaking part of OET Test on Computer from June 2026; this does not approve the whole OET@Home test.

- Single sub-test resit
- Not accepted.
- Version
- Use the OET test for your profession.
Read the minimum and base-score columns separately
PSI’s Pharmacy OET table lists Listening 350, Reading 350, Writing 300 and Speaking 350. It also lists B (350) for all components. For super-scoring, the base column is 300 in every component and B (350) for all components. Preserve that overall condition: meeting each base component is not the same as satisfying every condition in the table.
PSI permits two examinations of the same format within six months. Both must be complete tests meeting the base requirements; across them the required minimum scores must be reached. It excludes one-skill retakes. Results are valid for two years from the test date. Home-based tests are excluded, but PSI separately notes that the Speaking part of OET Test on Computer is delivered at home from June 2026. That component arrangement is not permission for the whole OET@Home product.

Prepare a pair of complete statements for a combining query
If you are considering super-scoring, keep both original statements together. Record the test dates and format beside each statement and mark where each required minimum was achieved. Retain all the lower scores too. A neat list of selected best components is insufficient for checking whether either original examination misses a base condition.
If you are unsure how the table’s overall B wording applies to your statements, send PSI the complete profile and ask for a route-specific interpretation. We do not create a numerical average and call it an OET overall result. Nor does our comparison tool give a combined-result approval for this policy. Resolve this question before committing to another sitting, because an improvement in a selected component does not by itself establish that the pair is acceptable. Keep the answer with your registration evidence so it can be read in context.

Check format and verification before the test
Use the full delivery name from your booking rather than saying you are taking an online test. A computer test at a venue with a separate remote Speaking appointment is a different arrangement from a completely home-based test. The source names that distinction, so the study guide and the comparison data keep it visible. If the booking offers an unfamiliar arrangement, ask PSI whether that exact arrangement is acceptable.
Make a separate note of how PSI can verify the results. Share results using the provider’s verification process; do not give a regulator your account password. Keep the test statement and the verification confirmation together. If you are relying on another form of language evidence, use the current PSI criteria for that route. A course conducted in English, a job title or a period living in Ireland should not be treated as an automatic waiver without checking the applicable criteria.

Use Pharmacy practice to improve the communication behind the score
For writing, choose a case in which the receiving clinician needs to review a medicine problem. State the requested action early, then connect it to the supplied symptoms, medicine history or difficulty following instructions. Preserve whether the patient reports a problem or the pharmacist has directly observed it. Keep unrelated history short, and do not invent a clinical explanation to make the letter sound more confident.
For speaking, find out why the patient is hesitant before giving a complete explanation. A concern about routine, side effects or understanding may require a different order of discussion. Practise acknowledging the concern, giving the relevant information in ordinary language and checking how the patient will use it. If you hear yourself repeating instructions without checking understanding, revise that exchange and try it again.
The links below open existing original Pharmacy material. Start with case-note selection, write the same letter and use feedback to make a concrete revision. Then try another case so that you are testing a communication habit rather than memory of a model answer. The free entry uses the existing allowances; practice passes support continued work as described on the pricing page. No study result or subscription is an assurance that PSI will accept a test profile or an application.
