The rule for nurses in UAE
A UAE nursing applicant should first identify whether an English-evidence clause of the unified PQR applies to the actual application. The PQR lists OET at grade C or above in particular circumstances involving qualifications or licences from non-English-speaking settings. It does not establish a blanket OET requirement for every nurse. The document does not clearly allocate that C grade to four individual component scores, so this page deliberately leaves the per-skill cells unspecified instead of inventing four 200 thresholds.

What to aim for in practice
Ask DHA, DOH or MOHAP which PQR clause applies, what component results it expects and whether the chosen delivery mode is accepted. While waiting, use Nursing practice to strengthen a clear patient explanation and a safe written handover. A sample Listening result can expose spelling weaknesses, but it cannot establish eligibility under an unspecified component rule. Keep any employer’s English request separate from the licensing authority’s evidence instructions.
