OET score for doctors in Canada (FMRAC model standard, CPSO)
Most Canadian medical regulators follow the FMRAC model standard: OET Medicine with grade B (350 or more) in each sub-test, in the same sitting, taken within the last 24 months. Ontario's CPSO states exactly this.
Minimum OET scores
0–500 per sub-testFMRAC lists OET as a preferred English test for provincial medical registration, and CaRMS accepts it for residency applications. Each province's college makes the final rule.

Questions candidates ask
What OET score do doctors need in Ontario?
CPSO needs OET Medicine taken within the last 24 months, with at least B in each of the four sub-tests in the same sitting.
Can I combine sittings for Canadian medical registration?
Not under the FMRAC model that CPSO follows. Newfoundland and Labrador reportedly accepts up to two sittings of the same test (from CaRMS listings), so check with that college.
Does CaRMS accept OET?
Yes, for residency applications, usually with the same B-in-each, same-sitting rule. Programmes can add their own conditions.
Does Canada accept OET@Home for doctors?
We couldn't confirm this for any province. Ask your college before booking.
