Readiness check

How close are you to your line?

Your estimate uses only full tests you sat in exam mode for the first time, in the last 60 days, for your profession. Everything else shows as progress.

What counts toward your estimateand why practice doesn't
  • Exam mode. Practice mode lets you pause and replay, so it can't show exam-day performance.
  • First time you've seen the test. A repeat, a part you practised, or a case you triaged first measures memory, not English.
  • Full test, not one part. A single Part A or Part C is shown as practice.
  • Not a rewrite. Rewrites are how you learn, but you only get one go on the day.
  • Your current profession. Results under another profession are kept separately.
  • The last 60 days. Older results are shown in your trend but don't decide anything.

Lines and special rules (like NMBI accepting one sub-test at C+) come from the same data as our score lines pages. If a regulator's rule can't be checked automatically, we show the rule and don't give a verdict.

Estimates come from your practice on OETAce and are not official results. Listening and Reading are marked exactly; Writing and Speaking are AI-marked against the published criteria and shown as conservative ranges. We haven't yet compared enough of our estimates with real OET results to publish how often they're right. Where our accuracy checks stand
